What does Jesus' name mean in Hebrew?

There are 2 Hebrew names for Jesus:

Jews use the Word Yeshu (ישו) which has no meaning at all. It is a Hebrew translation of the Latin Word Iesu.

Christians use the Word Yeshua (ישוע) (stressed on the u), which is a play on the Hebrew Word Yeshu'ah (ישועה) (stress on the last syllable), which means "deliverance".

It is most likely that neither Word is correct, since Jesus was Jewish, and neither Word is a proper Jewish name. Some scholars believe his name was Joshua (yehoshua, יהושוע), which means G-d will deliver.
