What are the good and bad tthings about the book the city of ember?

Pros:

1. You can't go to bed too late because they turn the lights off after a while, around 9

2. You only have to go to school until you're 13

Cons:

1. After you turn 13, you have to serve the city by doing a job you pick out of a bag that the mayor himself holds

2. Food is scarce, like, "PineApple? My grandmother hasn't had pineApple since she was a little girl." Quoting Lina Mayfleet talking to Lizzie.

3. The Generator, or the source of all of the electricity, is wearing down. No electricity equals not being able to see. (frowny face. We also need vitamin D, which comes from the sun. So they're pale. Plus you can't live without vitamin D.)
