Amazon Books has most English-language stuff. Possibly the British Library would have more, but you'd have to obtain membership.

You should have no problem finding publishing dates on the internet if you search using the title and author of the publication you're interested in as keyWords; your results will include links to sites which will give you dates and other information on the publication.
