Could be getting too much fuel and flooding. Try turning your idle screw in all the way and turning it back out 1 and a half turns. If it is still flooding you will have to take off the carburetor and blow out the jets (remove the float bowl and blow out all the jets in the bottom of the carb).
You've also made no mention of compression. Check the engine compression and make sure it's up to specifications.
