You cannot take the 'square roots;' of negative number, without going into the realms of IMAGINARY number. So under normal ;square rooting; rules it remains 'unresolved'.
However.
-5575
sqrt( -5575) = sqrt(-1 X 5575) =>
sqrt(-1) X sqrt(5575)
The 'sqrt (-1)' has never been solved., but it is given the symbol lower case letter 'i' for IMAGINARY.
However the sqrt(5575) = +/-74.66592272.....
So the best in modern maths for 'sqrt(-5575_ is +/-74.6659....i ' as the recognised answer.
If you can solve the 'sqrt(-1)' , the mathemtical/scientific world would like to know.
