Why did churchil not complete the potsdam conference?

Winston Churchill did not complete the Potsdam Conference because he was voted out of office in the British general election held on July 5, 1945, just days after the conference began. His Conservative Party lost to the Labour Party, led by Clement Attlee, who succeeded him as Prime Minister. As a result, Churchill left Potsdam early to return to Britain to address the political transition.
