What was posidon the greek god?

Oh honey, it's Poseidon, not "posidon." He's the Greek god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses. Basically, he's the big daddy of the ocean and can shake things up whenever he pleases. Just don't get on his bad side, or you might find yourself in some deep water.
