What kinds of dresses do the bridal attendant wear?

A style that compliments the bride's dress. Hopefully something that compliments the attendants as well (both physically and financially). Let's face it - we all would like to wear them again. But 99% of the time, that isn't going to happen; so asking your attendant to fork over a boat-load of money on a dress, accessories and alterations will eventually come back to bite you when they have their turn at the wheel. There are lots of lovely dresses out there that won't break the bank. And if you have attendants in varying body shapes - you might want to think about finding multiple styles in the same fabric and let them choose among the selection which one they like best. The colors can (don't have to) be the same, but they will all be just a little bit different - like your girls. To tie it altogether, gift them with the same piece of jewelry - a necklace, earrings or braclet. And the flowers can (don't have) to match - these can be subtly be different too.
