When i got my lip pierced the guy told me to wait to eat yeast. how long do i wait to eat yeast of any kind?

I would have recommended you research your choice of body piercer better. This gent doesn't know what he is talking about. The yeast thing is pure BS and has no bearing on your piercing. You need to just eat easy going foods (soup Sandwiches etc.) The yeast bit is urban legend and has no bearing on the health of your piercing. I am basing my statement on 16 years of professional body piercing experiance, so take it from there and you decide who's right.
