Why should you never use a boat's engine to drive it onto a trailer?

Here are just a few reasons:

• The prop is very likely to touch bottom due to the physics of how a boat motor works
• The trailer is not designed to take this type of stress
• The bottom of the boat is not built to take this type of abuse.
• The boat will very likely move left or right and not load correctly causing damage.
