What are the weaknesses of social media?

Maybe some of the dangers you will get in Social Media are; (1) "Identity Theft" so I suggest that you be careful in sharing personal information in whatever social media site you signed up. Do not add unknown people as your friends, they may be fake accounts and intended to get information about you. So, I highly recommend to set your profile as "Private". (2) Addiction, too much use of social media sites or platforms may affect someones' productivity. Poor study habits for instance. (3) Bad information, the source of information on social networking sites is people, the average Joe, those with an agenda, an ax to grind. Be careful what you listen to, what you read, what you take for fact or fiction.
