How many days did it take for Jesus to rise?

Jesus arose the third day (Sunday). He was arrested Thursday and died just before the Sabbath began sundown on Friday and rested all of the Sabbath (Sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday) and on the First day of the week (Sunday) arose and stayed another 40 days to meet with the disciples and others before returning to His home in Heaven where his disciples watched him rise up into Heaven. There was an Angel present there too and he said. This same Jesus that you see going back to Heaven shall return in the same manner you have seen him go to bring his people back to Heaven with him.
