What would make your work more meaningful and satisfying?

It could be many things...depends on what makes you happy. Might be helping people, could be a flexible schedule or status/authority within the organization. Could be recognition for high levels of performance. Maybe you get to design or build things that you are proud to say: "I made that". The respect of your co-workers might also be fulfilling.
