What causes a squeaky front end on a 2001 Sebring when the wheels are turned either right or left?

my 97 sebring had the same noise that you say, there in a factory recall on 95-01 01 sebrings for the front ball joints call the dealer and they will replace them for free this solved my problem and i get better gas mileage too!
