What are one good thing and one bad thing about feudalism in Japan?

Feudalism in Japan was a nightmare for the common person. Only the feudal lords benefited by having total political and economic power there. There is nothing to prove that a "god like" emperor would not have been produced because feudal chiefs would not give up some power.
