Who wrote rock n roll is here to stay?

Rock and Roll is here to stay' was performed and popularized by Danny and the Juniors, a group formed by four high school friends in the 1950s. Though this one made the Top 20 in 1958, the song that catapulted the group to fame was their first single and gold-selling hit 'At the Hop' which stayed seven weeks as number one in December 1957. 'Rock and Roll is here to stay' was written by David White Tricker, a.k.a. Dave White, one of the members of the band.
