What object should you take with you IF you went to the afterlife?

If you are referring to the Egyptian belief that when people died, they should bring certain objects with them to the afterlife, then you would want to bring items that made you feel comfortable-- some jewelry, a familiar chair, special clothes, maybe even a pet. The reason for all of this preparation was that Egyptians believed you would be meeting the gods in the afterlife and you wanted to look your best and have with you the objects that identified you to the gods.

But if you are asking about what objects should be placed in your coffin when you die, some people do ask that a favorite item be buried with them, while others do not follow this custom at all. Without knowing what your favorite items are, it would be difficult so suggest which one you might want to take to the grave.
