What are the benefits of status of symbol in the society?

Hello!.This is a very tricky question but i would like to give it a try.Status symbol has the following benefits.

1)You will be perceived differently by most of the people and you will generally loads of friends if u r not snobbish.

2)When you go to those places where there are high profile society people,you will be treated respectfully.

3)In case of theft or any other issue it definitely saves ones prestige.

4)It will create a different perception in the minds of people who have come from other countries.

Disadvantages:

1)U may attract attention of theives,burglers etc.

2)Many people would perceive you as arrogant.

3)At times people won't be willing to talk to you due to the difference in status symbol.

4)You will have many People who will fake around you.
