How much oil does it take to change oil in a motorcycle?

This depends on the motorcycle. My Harley Davidson Sportster is dry sump and the tank only holds 2.8 quarts. Most motorcycles with tanks hold about 3 quarts. 2 cycle motorcycles don't have motor oil. Its in the gas.
