Why does your pug defecate in the house after being scolded the many times beforehand?

I don't know but you may try putting him in a pet carior with food and water, and only let him out to go to the bathroom. If you do this for a few days it will often train him to go only outside. Dogs will not defecate where they sleep and eat unless its unavoidable. Please dont use this if your pet is ill or to young to control their own bowels and bladder.

Be sure to let him out frequently and put him in his carrior if he messes up again for an hour or so after training instead of scolding. If you don't catch him in the act he may not even know why your punishing him.
