Determine if the clone is to be aligned or not (aligned the source move with the mouse not aligned the source stays put and you can clone that part to many areas of the image)
Place the mouse pointer at the location of the source that you want to copy
Press CTRL and the left mouse button
move the pointer to where you want to paste the clone in
