What types of tools would you need to fix the hardware on your computer?

Main one, your hands and brain along with common sense. Others, anti-static wrist strap, Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, needle nose pliers (in case you drop a small screw somewhere). Very basic hand tools really, but if you don't know what you're doing, don't do it! Now if you're talking electrical system(s) then you'll need a bit more if you're trying to diagnose a possible electrical problem, and this you Can't do...(judging by the question itself)
