What are the similarities and differences between the concentric zone model and the Von Thunen land use model?

Similarities: Market in the middle sorrounded my rings pertainig to different land use values. House value decreases going away from the market. Both models do not take any consideration into how technology in the future could impact their spatial layout.

Differences: The von thunen model relates to agricultural or rural land use/distribution while the concentric zone model applies to urban and social areas conncected to the CBD (central business district). The von thunen model helps explain how transportation rules where what produce is produced and kept. The wealthier residents of a city live in the outer rings in the concentric zone model.
