What do sanguinivores eat?

Sanguivores, as in vampires of lore or just plain old bloodsucking bats, tend to eat blood. Sanguine is a Word that means "Of the colour of blood". It can also mean, "Optimistic, cheerful, or in 'high spirits'" (IE; referring to True Blood the TV show, in which drinking a vampires blood results in a major high).
