How can two people stand on the same single sheet of standard sized paper without being able to touch each other?

The piece of paper could be placed on the floor underneath a closed door. Half of the paper (minus an inch or so) is exposed on either side of the door. One person is standing on the exposed portion of the paper on one side of the door. The other person is standing on the paper on the other side of the door.
