What does the country of Haiti look like?

Picture those scenes in the Terminator movies, where total war has brought about total devastation. It used to look like that. Since the earthquake, I gather it is worse now.

Haiti has been one of the poorest, most desolate, and most strife torn nations there is, and for quite some time. Natural beauty-wise, it's beautiful. Living conditions-wise, it is not.
