Why is there water in the floorboard of your jeep?

We own a '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had the same problem. We took it in for service and found out that the drainage from the condenser under the dash was clogged. They replaced a hose and no more water. The hose goes from under the dash to inside the well on the door and then to the underside of the Jeep. Hope that helps!
