What gods did hohokams worship?

We don't know Hohokam what the thought or felt about gods. We only have archeology from their culture. They left no written record. They did have ball courts in the style of central Mexico starting about 600. In Mexico it had religious meaning but we don't know if it was the same for them.In Mexico it symbolized a microcosm of the cosmos with spiritual beings trying to make the world more harmonious for humans. They cremated their dead which is unusual in the Americas. After 12 centuries of successful civilization their way of life collapsed in about 1200 AD. It is thought that the modern Tohono O'odham and the Akimel O'odham are their descendants (Pima and Papago).
