Did Saint Nicholas have any children?

This question cannot be answered with certainty as the family of Jude (and Jude himself) is somewhat muddled in confusion. It is believed that Jude Thaddeus was the son of Cleophas and Mary (who stood at the cross with the Blessed Virgin Mary). It is also believed that James the Lesser was his brother. Cleophas is believed to have been the brother of St. Joseph which would make both Jude and James first cousins of Jesus. He is sometimes called the 'brother' of Jesus but the term 'brother' was used at the time for any close male relative. Jesus was an only child so he could not have had any actual brothers.
