in ths type system all the computation are distributed among several processors. distributted system are also reffered as loosely coupled system because here the processors do not share memory or a clock . instead each has is own local memory. its sharing the resource.
Realibity:- it means in distributed system, if one site fails reamaining sites will share the work of failed site.
Communication- when many sites are connected to one another by a communication network, the process at different sites have athe opportunity to exchange information. a user may intiate file transfer file or communicate.
