How did Oddjob die?

Bond initially tries hand to hand combat with Oddjob,

Which is completely futile as he has already seen a gold bar

He hurled bounce harmlessly off Oddjob's chest.

When the two separate, Oddjob throws his hat at Bond, missing him,

But cutting through a really thick electric cable.

Bond picks up the hat and throws it at Oddjob,

Who skillfully sidesteps and the hat gets wedged

Between the bars of the cage holding all the gold.

Oddjob goes over to collect the hat, and as he does so,

Bond notices the severed electric cable. Diving for the cable,

Bond grabs the cable and connects it to the metal bars,

At the precise moment Oddjob grabs his hat.

The result is electrifying, and Oddjob treats the audience to

A fantastically flamboyant collapse to the ground.
