How do you get easy headshots in modern warfare 2?

The easiest way is to type these commands into console. Please note, some of these commands are illegal in leagues because they actually make it so people on crappy internet and crappy computers can get kills.

Cl_interpolate .3 - Illegal

Makes it so that on computers that aren't top end, the lag between skins and hitboxes are fixed. What will happen on bad computers is the hitboxes will actually get way ahead of the skins, thus you can shoot the skin, blood appears, but no hit registers.

You may have to toy with it a bit. Try it one higher, then one lower, and go with whatever setting gives you the best. Once you have found that, keep up the process for an additional two decimal places or so. You will need to adjust it for every server, and every time that you play.

cl_crosshairusealpha ( I think) 1

Will make it so that you can control the opacity of the cross hair

cl_crosshairalpha 255

with the prior command, makes your cross hair opaque.

Every server you join, take note of the numbers by in and out.

cl_updaterate 100

cl_cmdrate 100

Now, after your in and out have settled around a number, for example, 33, 66, 75, or 100, change the last two to that number. This will make it so you are in sync with the tick of the server, meaning your hits will register more often.

cl_crosshairscale 3200 (its what I play at)

This next block helps make your crosshair stand out, but you will need to either put this in your autoexec.cfg, or type it in console everytime that you want to use this. What it will do is everytime you shoot your gun, your crosshair will change colors.

It only really helps on maps in which it is hard to see your crosshair though.

Tactics

What I recommend is actually spraying, but in a modified manner.

Instead of just running pell mell into the fray, guns blazing, it helps to run pell mell into the fray with your guns blazing at the person's neck. It's what I call pop and drop. When running, drop your aim slightly from where you want to hit. When holding still, raise it slightly AND I MEAN SLIGHTLY from where you want to hit. Also, do what I call deag training. For 2 weeks or so, only play with a deagle, and only aim for headshots.

Also, if you are going for headshots, do not use the M4A1. If you do and your enemy has a helmet, then your headshots will only do about 91 or 90 damage, meaning it will normally take two hits to kill someone. With the Famas or the AK47, it only takes one. Also, if using the famas, do not use burst-fire.
