Leptin is a

protein that's made in the fat cells and circulates in the

bloodstream and goes to the brain. Actually, it is the way your fat

cells tell your brain that your energy thermostat is set right. It

means, it tells your brain that you have enough energy stored in

your fat cells to engage in normal relatively expensive metabolic

processes. It is also possible that the absence of leptin is an

extremely rare cause of obesity like diseases. So, Leptin is so

much important for our proper weight loss.
