Once when playing my 360, i got the red ring of death. All i did was immediatly turn the 360 off, and wait about 10-20 seconds and then turned it back on. Then my 360 was back to normal.
That is one way of doing it.
If the red ring persists then move the xbox where it can get more air.
The red ring is a sign of a component error. This means that one of the pieces of your xbox has gotten to hot to work.
when i got the red ring of death i turned my x-box off immediatly un plugged all the plugs and the tele cables. I took my hardrive off, grabbed a towel rapped it round my x-box put it in the freezer for 20 minutes. When i took it out i kept the towel on plugged everything back in turned it on and everything was back working as usual.
