What are opinions about SOS Clothes LTD?

One opinion:

Do not donate. They are not a charity.

They are a limited company who give out leaflets that make them sound like a charity. They collect old clothes and sell them on in eastern Europe for profit. They give a very small amount of the profit after tax to charity - usually a small charity you have never heard of. They have been in trouble with several Trading Standards authorities for misleading the public. Scammers and thieves, in my opinion - don't donate to these people. Take your clothes to a charity shop or only use bags given by reputable, well-known UK charities.
