The early Nitro Specials were marked "Lefever Arms Co., Inc., Ithaca, N.Y." and the early Long Range Doubles were marked "Western Arms Corp., Ithaca, N.Y." Around 1933, they lumped the brands together and the later Lefevers were marked "Lefever Arms Branch, Ithaca Gun Co., Inc." and the Long Range Doubles were marked "Western Arms Branch Ithaca Gun Co., Inc."
