Why does a mirror or window which is polished by a cloth become dusty on a dry day?

A polished mirror or window can become dusty on a dry day due to the accumulation of airborne particles such as dust, pollen, and other debris. Even though the surface may be smooth and shiny, these particles can settle on it over time, especially in dry conditions where there is little moisture to help them adhere. Additionally, static electricity generated from the polishing process can attract more dust to the surface.
