Swimwear is a must during the summer as Tasmania has many secluded bays and beaches that are safe for swimming.

Particular care needs to be taken also if heading to the ski fields, layered and water-resistant clothing, gloves, hat, wool/moisture-absorbent socks, an extra set of clothes, sunscreen and lip protection is essential, along with goggles/sunglasses.
