Where can one get an ISP service?

Clear.com was one of the early wireless ISP that came on the market. You can check out their website to see if they offer service in your area. Some cable providers also provide wireless internet access so check with your local provider to see.

In addition to land-based wireless providers there are also satellite Internet providers that offer service. This may be a good option if you live in a rural area with limited options. Satellite service tends to run higher than other Internet mediums (such as DSL, Cable, etc.).

Other options would be to get Internet service from your mobile phone provider. Most wireless phone providers will provide Internet service now so depending on the amount of data you use that could be an option as well.
