How-to get a baby lizard off duck tape?

To save any reptile from Duct Tape or sticker traps: find some cooking spray such as Pam and gently spray the feet and/or underbelly of the lizard. Avoid the eyes and mouth. The spray should remove the stick and the lizard will be mutually uneffected. Very gently run your fingernail on the tape under the gecko's feet, then belly.

Sadly, younger reptiles may be already in shock, or scared into shock from the experience, and may die from the shock alone. Certain lizards, especially geckos, will probably drop their tail if it is applied to the tape. Provided the tail does not separate directly at the base of the tail, the gecko will recover.
