When did the Pike expedition start and end?

Zebulon Pike's southwestern expedition began in St. Louis on July 15, 1806. On February 26, 1807, Pike and his men were captured by the Spanish in what is now Colorado. The Spanish released them at the Louisiana border on July 1, 1807.
