Where did the word valentine come from?

the valentine is what we called LOVE that's why we call it valentine.

St.Valentine (feast day Feb.14th) Christian martyr who died in 3rd century Rome. He was a Roman priest and physician who died during persecution of Christians. Whist imprisoned he fell in love with his jailers daughter who visited him. On his death he sent her a letter signed from your Valentine.

Also the Bishop of Terni, Italy was also called Valentine was martyred in Rome and who also may be the same person.
