Why do we only drink eggnog at Christmas?

For the same reason we only eat chocolate bunnies at Easter. It makes it special.

I know that if I drank all year, I'd get sick of holidays. Maybe we keep special fruitcake by reserving it for the year. And maybe it's a lot like . . . once is enough!
