Who worshiped Poseidon the Greek god?

Poseidon is the one of the three top gods in Greek Mythology. He is also known as the God of the seas and horses and is thought to be responsible for earthquakes and ship wrecks. This resulted in the worship of Poseidon by all citizens of ancient Greece especially fisherman and shipmates.
