Yes, you can. However, in most states a minor (a person below the age of 18) must get emancipated.
Emancipated is when a minor legally divorces (lack of better Words) their parents or guardians. The procedure does not take long, but a lot of paperwork. Mainly, the child must prove that they can take care of themselves.
To do this, usually the minor must
-have a job,
-still be in school getting an education,
-able to pay for their own rent (living expenses),
-and shows a good sense of responsibility to take care of themselves.
