How can you tell how dialated your cervix are?

Have your partner insert two fingers into the vaginal canal.Make sure you use some type of lubricant before insertion. After insertion into the canal, spread your fingers inside until you feel the cervix. You should be able to tell how much of the cervix has effaced.
