How do you add coolant to a car?

Drain existing coolant from the plug at the bottom or rear of the radiator

Flush radiator with clean water until water runs clear

Re-fill radiator slowly (to prevent an airlock) with a mixture of 50/50 water and antifreeze

Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on

Re-check coolant level
