What are two ways that animals adapt in live in cold climates?

Well all animals are different. A lot of animals can't survive the cold so they live in places like deserts or savanas.

But most animals that do survive the cold usually have special fur coats around their body. Artic wolves for example have 3 layers of fur to protect from the wet and cold.

Some animals (small) like foxes or rabbits survive the cold by digging holes into the ground (dens) because the closer you are to the Earth's core the warmer you are. -hence the term the shorter you are the warmer you are-
