How do you taper off tramdol?

start by taking 1 tab every 4 to 6 hrs for 3 days then 1/2 tab.4-6 hrs for 2 days...then every other day a half a tab every 4-6 hrs till tabs are gone. Should only have enough tablets for a week....or so.

Not sure if this is right but I'm thinking that's how to taper off...
