Identify the ethical standards in policing?

Police following ethical standards involve procedural, in addition to philosophic foundations. Procedural requires abiding by and being compliant to law and their training/institutional methodologies. Philosophic underpinnings come from a commitment towards preserving habeas corpus, Constitutional & Civil Rights, fairness, impartiality, integrity, resisting corruption, and the willingness to only follow legal orders.
